We are pleased to announce the winners of our Facebook contest for folk musicians! The winners in Perm are Robert Bates and The Salty Dog (1st prize), and Viktor Shutov (2nd prize). The winners in Yekaterinburg are Andrey Karlyshev (1st prize), Maxim Starkov (2nd prize), and Sergey Sitnikov (3rd prize). All winners are invited to perform at the 2nd International Bluegrass Festivals taking place in Perm (August 16th) and Yekaterinburg (August 18th). The first prize winners will get a new banjo, and the 2nd and the 3rd prize winners will get a CD-ROM with the music of Bill Evans and Friends, our American guests for this Festival. We would like to thank all of the musicians who sent us their videos, and invite everyone to enjoy the open air bluegrass bash!
