Tim Sandusky
Tim Sandusky began his career with the Department of State in 1984. He has held a variety of positions in both political and consular affairs. He served in the consular section of the U.S. Embassy in Moscow from 1990-92. He has also served overseas in Poland, Guyana and Indonesia.
Most recently, Mr. Sandusky served as a foreign affairs analyst in Washington, D.C. His other Washington assignments have included the Nuclear Risk Reduction Center, the Foreign Service Institute and the Bureau of Consular Affairs.
Mr. Sandusky graduated from Miami University in Ohio with degrees in mass communication and Russian language. He holds a masters degree in Russian and East European studies and a law degree from the George Washington University in Washington, D.C. He speaks Russian and Polish.
Mr. Sandusky grew up in Ohio and Alaska, where he first began studying Russian language. He enjoys music, especially jazz, sports and other outdoor pursuits. He is married to Sher Sandusky.
