Russian citizens, like citizens of many countries, require a visa to enter the United States . The Consulate issues nonimmigrant visas for people with permanent residence outside the U.S. but who wish to go to the U.S. on a temporary basis - for tourism, medical treatment, business, temporary work, or study. We encourage people to submit visa applications at least 4-6 weeks before they intend to travel to allow time for any seasonal or processing delays.

Starting January 1, 2008, the visa fee will be $131 or the ruble equivalent.
