Non-Immigrant Visa Fees, Types, and Validity
There are many types of visas available to foreign visitors to the United States. Please review the information below to determine which visa type best suits your needs. If you cannot determine the appropriate visa type or would like additional information, do not hesitate to contact us or visit the U.S. Department of State website.
The non-refundable application fee (or MRV fee) for all visa types is $131. The only exceptions to this are diplomatic visas and certain U.S. government-sponsored exchange visitors. Application fees collected via the Pony Express courier system must be paid in the Russian ruble equivalent; reciprocity fees are paid at the consulate and may be in dollars or rubles. We accept cash only for visa services.
Please note that the validity periods listed here are the maximums that apply to Russian citizens. The Consul determines the exact validity of each visa at the time of issuance and, for a number of reasons, may issue a limited validity visa.
