Videoconference on U.S.-Russian Relations (Apr 4, 2005) - U.S. Consulate General Yekaterinburg, Russia

CG Yekaterinburg hosted a videoconference with Dr. Ariel Cohen, a research fellow at the Heritage foundation and expert on U.S.-Russian relations. Dr. Cohen had a wide-ranging discussion with Yekaterinburg academics, journalists and students on topics from Russia’s involvement in Iran’s nuclear program to recent developments in George, Ukraine and Chechnya. Dr. Cohen also commented on the outcome of the Bush-Putin summit in Bratislava and future priorities for bilateral relations.

Dr. Ariel Cohen was invited to visit Moscow and St. Petersburg in frames of the U.S. Embassy Speaker Program to address U.S.-Russia counter terrorism cooperation and energy security.
