Meeting with IREX alumni

On June 14th PAO Virgil Strohmeyer met with 20 alumni of the Community Connections, Business for Russia and other exchange programs at the seminar called Exploring Cultural Diversity to Develop Cooperation between Russia and the USA. Mr. Strohmeyer talked about the behavioral differences between Americans and Russians rooted in two different patterns of law--Roman and Common. Mr. Sergey Kropotov, Dean of the Department of Art and Cultural Sciences, Ural State University, and a Fulbright program alumnus, also made a presentation on the competitive power of cultural differences. The participants of the meeting exchanged the projects created by their trips to the U.S.
