The U.S. Consulate General Celebrates Independence Day

CG Yekaterinburg celebrated American Independence day on Friday with a reception at the Yekaterinburg Fine Arts Museum. The traditional celebration, this year in honor of America’s 229th birthday, included music from Yekaterinburg’s Kat Trio along with hamburgers fresh off the grill and donations from Coke, Pepsi, Subway. Numerous local and regional political, civic, and religious leaders were in attendance as well as prominent businessmen and community activists. The celebration also recognized the conclusion of Consul General Scott Rauland’s tour in Yekaterinburg.
