Consul General hosts Iftaar for Yekaterinburg Muslim community

On October 19, US Consul General in Yekaterinburg Scott Rauland hosted Iftaar for representatives of Yekaterinburg Muslim community . This is the second time when US Consul General gathers guests of Tatar, Bashkir, Azeri, Kazakh, Kyrgyz and other communitites. Mr. Rauland said that we have to continue this tradition, as such events allow for better mutual understanding of various ethnic groups of this region. The guests extended their thanks for the US Consulate General initiative and expressed their hope for close cooperation.
On October 22, US Consulate plans to host Iftaar in Orenburg.
