The American Center in Yekaterinburg Celebrates Its 10th Anniversary!

On November 29th, the American Center in Yekaterinburg celebrated its 10th anniversary. Friends of the American Center, including the U.S. Consulate General, Center for Citizen Initiatives, Institute of International Relations, Ural State University and other institutes attended the anniversary party. Consul General Scott Rauland, Deputy Mayor Mikhail Matveev, and USU Rector Vladimir Treyakov spoke about the important work done by the center in helping to bridge American and Russian cultures. Baskin Robbins contributed an ice cream cake with the AC’s logo, and students of lyceum # 173 played wonderful jazz music.
