The Consulate is open for passport services between 2:00pm and 4:00pm Monday through Friday, or by appointment. The Department of State now produces passports in the United States to maximize the security of the document. Therefore, in most cases it now takes about ten days to obtain a new passport. Fees for passport services can be paid in dollars, rubles or by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover).
