Visa Processing Times
Current Processing Times and Expedited Appointments
We strongly encourage all applicants to apply at least 1 month before they intend to travel to allow for any processing delays. Applicants involved in scientific research should apply at least six weeks before they plan to travel.

Please note that visa printing process can take 3 days or more after the interview day. Also additional administrative processing may be required for some applications. In such cases, processing wait time will vary based on the individual circumstances of each application.
We do not recommend buying your airline tickets before you receive your passport and visa back through Pony Express.
Certain applicants may qualify for an expedited interview appointment, at the discretion of the Consul. Please contact us if you believe you might qualify. Please note that an expedited interview does not exempt an applicant from any relevant additional processing requirements.
